Client: Fissura
Production: Luch
Task: Editing 4 team intro videos in less than 2 days
For the Fissura PlayGround tournament in Belgrade, I was responsible for editing four 30-second team intro videos within a tight deadline.
Filming Concept
The production team designed unique sets and lighting schemes for each team. To enhance the dynamic feel, two cameras were used:
• Main camera – capturing detailed and structured shots.
• Handycam – adding raw energy and a sense of presence.
Additionally, some footage was shot with a long shutter effect, creating a stylized, cinematic look.
Fast-Paced Editing Workflow
To speed up the editing process, we prepared in advance:
✅ Pre-approved music tracks
✅ Assets and footage for stylized transitions
✅ A clear structure for dynamic cuts
A key optimization was efficient shot selection. From about 45 minutes of raw footage per team, I pre-selected the best 10 minutes on a separate sequence. This streamlined the editing process, making it easy to assemble the final cut and quickly implement client revisions without re-watching all footage.
Final Deliverables
After completing the team intro videos, I also edited a general event highlight video, featuring the best moments from all team shoots. Another editor worked on four additional team intros, which helped with assembling the final event recap.
Project Challenges:
⚡ Tight deadline – 4 videos in less than 2 days
⚡ Dynamic storytelling with strong visuals
⚡ Optimized workflow for fast revisions
The result: high-energy, visually striking intro videos that perfectly matched the tournament’s aesthetic!
