Project: Transformational Yacht Tour “СейСчастье”
Role: Event Videographer & Photographer
For this project, I spent 7 days on a yacht in the Aegean Sea, capturing the atmosphere, emotions, and experiences of the participants in the transformational retreat “SeiSchastie”, led by Varvara Sazonova. Every day, I filmed in 100fps with a 1/200 shutter speed, allowing me to create smooth, cinematic footage while also extracting sharp still frames from the video.
Workflow & Key Tasks
• Daily Shooting: Documenting the journey, body-oriented practices in the open air, dancing under the stars, coastal explorations, and local cuisine tastings.
• Fast Content Delivery: Each evening, I selected the best stills, color-graded them, and shared them with the group, so participants could instantly post high-quality Instagram photos and share their experiences in real-time.
• Final Video Presentation: At the end of the trip, I edited a highlight video, which we watched together on a projector on the final evening, reliving the best moments of the journey.
Final Outcome
Thanks to an efficient and streamlined workflow, participants received high-quality photos and videos every day, allowing them to instantly share their experience on social media. The final film became a valuable keepsake of this unforgettable journey.
Additionally, the client received high-quality promotional materials that can be used in future marketing campaigns to attract new participants and promote upcoming Life v Kaif retreats.
